Mini Movers is a mix of creative movement, tumbling, singing, and dancing, for girls and boys.Ĭhildren will learn basic dance movement and terminology through fun songs and the use of props. Prerequisite: A personal evaluation and recomendation Two Ballet classes per week A doctors note with a pre authorization. To be eligible for pointe work, a student must have strong ballet technique, correct body placement, proper physical qualifications, stength, and a self disciplined attitude. We may recomend a student take Pre-Pointe several years before moving on to Pointe. Pre-Pointe is also done in Ballet slippers for the entire year. Pre-Pointe is a technique class only and will not perform in the recital. Miss Michelle will evaluate readiness for pre-pointe based on a dancers technique, strength, and proper body alignment. Students must be a minimum of 11 years old and have 3 years of Ballet training. Pre-Pointe is the first step towards moving forward to Pointe work for a young dancer. This class consists of barre and center work concentrating on proper technique and body alignment. Its meticulous attention to technical detail makes it for any serious dancer.
